FALL-WINTER 2021 TRENDS STYLED BY YOUR FAVORITE WITCHES

What is your favorite trend for Fall-Winter 2021 season? I’m sure you’ve already seen a good dose of giant blazers, leather trench coats, Bottega Veneta boots with a tracking sole…. or its imitation, because paying €950 is not them is not my highest priority at the moment.

👻 SPOOKY FALL-WINTER 2021 TRENDS 🔮

¡Elige a tu favorita!/ This time I show you the illustrated Fall-Winter 2021 trends, but styled by our favorite pop culture witches. In honor of Halloween and the Spooky Season (my favorite season of the year). Choose your favorite!

Endora – Going For Green! 🍃 | Bewitched (1964-1972)

But not any kind of green, but that green that reminds you of the Kermit The Frog and that is part of the Branding of the Bottega Veneta modernized by Daniel Lee. You can find a total green look – like this worn by Endora, Samantha’s mother in the Bewitched series – or a specific accessory like a bag or shoes. The best part? It is an easy color to combine with orange, purple and neutrals…. just like Endora.

The Evil Queen – Mega Knits! 🌙 | Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs (1937)

He ilustrado a la Reina Malvada de Blanca Nieves, porque es posible verse elegante vistiendo sólo prendas de punto./ The perfect trend from Fall-Winter 2021 for comfort enthusiastic: knitwear, but in its most theatrical version. Fashion houses like Loewe, Acne Studios or Chloé propose XXL garments and outfits made practically by many layers of knitted pieces. I have illustrated the Evil Queen from Snow White, because it is possible to look elegant wearing only knitwear.

Bellatrix Lestrange – Strong Suiting 💫 | Harry Potter Saga (2001-2011)

Bellatrix Lestrange, pese a su reputación, vestiría de traje para ir a Gringotts a hacer un depósito bancario./ Will we remember c*vid lockdown as an unglamorous moment? Do you think future movies about lockdown will show characters wearing sweatpants? Many people went back to office after months of remote work, so it’s not a surprise that formal clothes and suits are dominating the proposals for fall-winter 2021. Specifically, 70’s silhouettes and much more relaxed patterns. Bellatrix Lestrange, despite her reputation, would wear a suit to go to Gringotts to make a bank deposit.

Sabrina – Leather Weather 🕶 | Sabrina The Teenage Witch (1996-2003)

If “Sabrina, The Teenage Witch” happened in Fall-Winter 2021, she would choose a leather look from head to toe. Probably for a romantic dinner with Harvey or to go to a meeting with other witches. The best thing about the “Leather Weather” look is that it makes you look stylish in a second and looks good on both casual and elegant occasions.

Elphaba (The Wicked Witch of West) – Color Therapy 💊 / The Wizard of Oz (1939)

¿Mi tendencia favorita de esta temporada? ¡Claro! My favorite trend of Fall-Winter 2021? Of course! Yes to be a rainbow and to use more color during cold seasons. I am against the idea that bright colors should only be for the summer, since a little brightness in the closet is always necessary to withstand the grey days. The Wicked Witch of the West’s obsession with getting Dorothy’s ruby shoes would be satisfied with a closet full of pieces in bold colors.

  • This is such a fun idea for a post – and you picked perfect outfits for each of the witches. Illustrated beautifully as always! I really like the last one as I am trying to be more colourful with my outfits and I think that colour should be worn year-round too 🙂

Hope that you are having a great week 🙂

  • Hola Pablo! Como estàs?
    Are you ready for Halloween?^^
Guessing from your recent posts on IG I could say that you are excited as much as I am for this festivity! I hope that you can manage to have some fun despite the pandemic!
I really love a lot Halloween , and, even if it’s yet not much popular here in Italy, I celebrate it since I was at High school: last year was the first year I didn’t went to an Halloween party since ages… and sadly I fear that this year gonna be, less or more. the same.
Just hope that at least the neightborhood kids will pass for trick ot treat,…

Anyway, let’s pass to the topic of the day: I really don’t know how you get those ideas, but really this post is pure genius!!!
Totally loved the combo of latest fashion trends and the most popular witches of the the pop culture! I even watched Bewitched in original language in London, years ago! (didn’t undestand the half of it, to be honest- my english isn’t good enough- but was magical!)
    Loooooove it!
So, even if my fav witch among these is Sabrina (of course, I’m a 90’s kid^^), my fav looks are the Evil’s queen and Ephaba ones! totally fit the charachters!
Your illustrations are so so brilliant, really!

Have a great week and and a fab Halloween, my friend! 😀

    • Hola Silvia, thank you so much for your lovely comment!

As you could see on my Instagram and on my blog I am true Halloween fan and I would love to have more spooky seasons during the year. I’d say it lasts too short! I went to a small Halloween party but just with a few people to keep it as safe as possible 🙂

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about these illustrations with me! I totally love Bewitched but I watched in Spanish, it would be interesting to watch it in the original language 🙂

      Take care!xx

  • I have said this before and I will say it again I just LOVE your illustrations they have a similar aesthetic to Garance Dore. This series is brilliant and you did Endora from Bewitched how cool! And then relating it to fashion–genius!

I love the evil queen wearing extra knitwear here. No matter what she wear she’ll always looks so chic !
And Beattric Lestrange wearing this amazing 70’s inspired suit.
And just like you I don’t think colors should only be reserved for summer.

  • Oh wow Pablo! I am so blown away by the creativity of this post. All your illustrations and this concept are amazing. I especially love the Bellatrix Lestrange and Sabrina the Teenage Witch looks. I am a bit intimidated by wearing suits or leather, but I really admire the trends and would love to be brave enough to wear it someday.
