LONDON PHOTODIARY #4

No podíamos abandonar LONDRES sin ver llover y así experimentar uno de los clichés más emblemáticos de la capital inglesa. De hecho tengo una anécdota muy graciosa respecto a esto: el cuarto día (domingo) ha llovido mucho, y como un regalo divino hemos encontrado un paraguas que incluso combinaba con mi chaqueta… el quinto día (lunes) teníamos que volver a España, pero aún nos quedaban unas horas libres antes de ir al aeropuerto, así que íbamos cargando con todo el equipaje por la ciudad y como el día estaba soleado y caluroso, Kiko y yo hemos acordado abandonar dicho paraguas en una banca del metro. ¿Cuál fue nuestra sorpresa?, que al llegar a Picadilly Street la lluvia ha comenzado a caer de nuevo y hemos terminado algo mojados, pero la lluvia igual se disfruta, ¿no? y más si es en un lugar lejos de casa./ We couldn’t leave LONDON without having the experience of seeing rain, yes, we wanted to live one of the most iconic English clichés!. In fact I have a very funny story about this: on the fourth day (Sunday) was a rainy day, and as a divine gift we found a pretty umbrella… the fifth day (Monday) we had to return to Spain but we still had a few hours to enjoy the city before going to the airport, so we were carrying all the luggage around London and the day was so sunny and magical, so Kiko and I have agreed to leave that umbrella on a bench in the subway. And then we had a surprise… rain has started to fall again at Picadilly Street, we ended wet, but the rain is also something you just have to enjoy, or not?, even better if you’re far away from home.

El domingo hemos pasado la mañana al Victoria & Albert, después no hemos podido entrar a muchos otros lugares (como era domingo de Pascua no todo abría), así que hemos deambulado sin rumbo fijo y haciendo tonterías por las calles de la ciudad, también hemos tomado un café disfrutando de ver la lluvia caer detrás de la ventana de algún local en Brompton Road y eso también es invaluable. Al final y para cerrar con broche de oro uno de los mejores días de mi vida hemos ido a contemplar el atardecer al Palacio de Buckingham y bueno, creo que la fotos hablan por si solas…./ On Sunday we spent the morning at the Victoria & Albert museum, then we couldn’t go to many other places (it was a Easter Sunday) so we wandered around the city, doing stupid things and just enjoying every corner, every street… we also had some coffee, enjoying watching the rain fall from a window at Brompton Road and that is just invaluable, too!. Finally and to end up one of the best days of my life we decided to watch the sunset at Buckingham Palace and well, I think pictures can speak for themselves…

Espero que les hayan gustado todos los posts con fotografías de LONDRES, fue mi primera vez en la capital inglesa y no me puedo quejar… ahora no veo la hora de regresar!/ I hope you liked all these post from LONDON, it was my first time there and I everything was awesome… now I just can’t wait to come back!
